This is a very good example of a hobby which with time has turned into a full time job. Philip started looking after and caring for animals around his home in the “mondi”, soon after he took them home with him to provide them with the care they needed in order to not only survive but also live in an environment close to their home where they could both move freely and be under the guidance and supervision of caretakers with the knowledge to respond to their needs.
Philip started building cages on his parent’s property and started to adopt animals not only locally but also from the states, Latin American countries and neighboring islands. Through the years he has forged and continues to work on building important, significant and internationally recognized cooperation programs with NGO’s in order to protect the rights of animals as well as to protect the procreation and existence of several animals in danger of extinction. It is with the smallest amount of private sector support and limited resources that he has, on a miraculously manner, been able to keep his cause afloat.
Philip has lots of ideas for expansion of his foundation, which he hopes to accomplish in the near future with your personal donations and building on a solid liaison with the government in order to safeguard the continuation of his imperative initiative.
