Indian Ringneck Parakeet (Psittaculakrameri)

The Indian Ringneck Parakeet is a tropical parakeet species native to Asia and Africa. It is mostly green with undertones of blue, and yellow feathers underling their wings and tail. Both males and females look very similar; however, the male has a black ring around his neck. His ring is highlighted with turquoise, pink, and blue. The female may also have a slightly green ring. They have established colonies in nonnative environments, such as California, Florida, and the UK.
